Highfieldfarm Touring Park is a park which is situated just outside of Cambridge in the delightful village of Comberton. Having spent a long weekend on this touring park I would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit the Cambridge area. The Park is kept to a very high standard and is always clean and tidy. Proprietors Brian and Lorraine Chapman and there daughter beverley and her husband Kevin take great pride in their touring park and have won some prestigious awards for their endeavours, deservedly so I hasten to add.
The Park is divided into several areas which has the effect of given both a small site feel but with spacious pitches.
The shower blocks are kept spotlessly clean and tidy, water points are set inside small shrubbery's which is an idea which I have not seen before but can certainly say it does look good and enhances the overall look of the site.
Hopefully our next visit to this park will be a longer one as there is so much to do and see in this area. One place which is of particular interest is the Imperial War Museum at Duxford which is only about 10 miles from Highfield. For more things to do just pop into the information hut at the Park's entrance where there is a whole array of brochures covering the area.
I am sure a visit to this touring park will be a pleasurable event for all caravanners and campers from young families through to Grandparents. We will certainly look forward to another trip to this part of the country.
