This is a group build where an Airfix model will be started by one member, and once the first stage is complete, then it will be sent to another member to do the next stage, and so on until complete. The final model will have gone round the world via Australia, Europe, UK and North America, and then be auctioned off for charity with proceeds going to Help For Heroes. We have some high profile people including the world renowned modeller Mig Jiminez, Top Gear's James May and Ben Parkinson who was badly injured in Afghanistan and has bravely fought his injuries and does work for charities including Help For Heroes.
I have been contacted about some Thomson Caravans windows which are available for pick up near Strathaven, Lanarkshire area. These were all removed from a Glenelg but may fit other models as well. If you are interested in the windows please contact me and I will pass on your details. Hopefully these will be of use to one of the folks currently repairing their Thomson, only cost involved will be your travelling expenses, the owner will be glad to see them go to a Thomson enthusiast. This a link to a PDF file that shows all the windows on it, you will need Adobe reader or similar to open it.
