Section one - Chassis and running gear
  1. Check coupling head; lubricate as necessary.
  2. Lubricate overrun piston with grease gun.
  3. Check handbrake operation and adjust.
  4. Check breakaway chain/cable.
  5. Remove wheels/drum assembly. Remove dust.
  6. Adjust brakes, commencing at drum.
  7. Replace split pin or 'one-shot' axle nut.
  8. Torque 'one-shot' nut to manufacturers data.
  9. Replace wheels and torque check nuts/bolts.
  10. Check tyres, remove stones, and check pressures.
Section Two - Gas
  1. Carry out pressure test on system.
  2. Replace washer on regulator.
  3. Replace flexible hose; use new hose clips.
  4. Fridge: Light and test for cooling.
  5. Cooking Appliances: Light and verify operation.
  6. Check space heater operation.
  7. Check water heater operation
  8. Certificate of Gas Check by Corgi registered engineer.
Section Three - Electrical
  1. Check RCD circuit breaker and MCB's
  2. Test 13amp sockets
  3. Check operation of all interior lights
  4. Check road lights, reflectors, and awning lamp.
  5. Check operation of water pump.
  6. Certificate of Mains by qualified Electrical Engineer.
Section Four - Body Work and General Condition
  1. Check for evidence of body leaks.
  2. Meter and visually check for evidence of damp.
  3. Check/oil door lock; oil hinges.
  4. Check/oil all cabinet door locks; oil hinges
Section Five - Fire warning systems
  1. Check fire Alarm operation.
  2. Check fire blanket (if fitted).
  3. Check date on fire extinguisher.
Additional Service Options:
  1. Service refrigerator in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
  2. Check Water system for leaks; flush through with purifying chemical.
  3. Replace water filter (if fitted)
  4. Check spare wheel and jack.
Please note this is only a rough guide that lets you know what you should expect a service to cover when carried out by a qualified caravan repair/service centre.
